Namaste

“If you meditate deeply, a love will come over you such as no human tongue can describe; you will know His divine love, and you will be able to give that pure love to others.” Paramahansa Yogananda

My name is Karen and my passion is to bring healing, love, and light to the world through traditional East Asian medicine, cultivating community, and personal development. I would be honored to help you on your personal healing journey. I believe bringing your body, mind, and spirit into harmony can lead to profound healing. Acupuncture is a safe, effective, and powerful tool to help you achieve that.

A little about my various roles in life: I’m a wife, parent, daughter, friend, dog owner, hiker, gardener, meditator, leader, spiritual seeker, and creator of beauty.

“Love is the divine power of attraction in creation that harmonizes, unites, binds together.” Paramahansa Yogananda

    My Background

I specialize in auricular therapy, which utilizes the ear to access the entire body and brain. Additionally, I have a wide range of experience with a variety of full body acupuncture styles (TCM, Korean, Master Tung, scalp, dry needling, EStim, Channel Theory) to cater to individual needs. I love helping people with their emotional wellness, women’s health, fertility, and senior’s health issues. I also have extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal pain, arthritis pain, poor sleep, chronic conditions, and side effects from cancer treatment.

graduated from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with Summa Cum Laude honors and a Master's of Traditional Oriental Medicine degree. I am also a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo alumna with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering and an English minor. In addition to being licensed in the state of California, I am National Board-Certified Acupuncturist with the title of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM.

I have studied a variety of meditation and pranayama (breathwork) techniques and have dived deep into the teachings of masters such as Dr. Helena Zhang’s Jade Woman Qi Gong, Ram Dass’ Alchemy of the Heart, and Paramahansa Yogananda's Hong-Sau.

I am passionate about empowering people to live their best lives, and I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your personal goals.
