People, Places & Things I Love
...and could benefit your life.
“If you meditate deeply, a love will come over you such as no human tongue can describe; you will know His divine love, and you will be able to give that pure love to others.”
~Paramahansa Yogananda

Groundbreaking Podcast with Ky Dickens
This incredibly profound series makes my heart sing with positivity and hope for the future of humanity. It shares the incredible stories of non-speakers who have been able to communicate via thought with each other, as well as with parents and people open to them. Also explored is animal telepathy, other psi abilities, and possible explanations and theories for these amazing phenomena.
What I love most about the Telepathy Tapes is how it highlights the interconnectedness of ALL of us.
Spiritual Psychotherapist & Artist
Kathy specializes in Tarotpy which uses decks of Tarot cards to guide your inner work and realizations. By using the card images rather than the surface meanings, you can have profound personal insights.

I am a huge fan of Kathy's striking and thought provoking paintings and line drawings, which you can browse on her website.

Metaphysical Spiritual Community
Unity of the Oaks is a loving, accepting, heart-centered spiritual community here to be love-in-action, to encourage personal growth, awaken spiritual curiosity and transform lives.

I love that there are a lot of fun events including a Law of Attraction discussion group, The Artist's Way class, summer movie nights, and sound healing events.
Every Wednesday evening at 7 pm is an intimate gathering with a half hour of guided meditation and a half hour of singing uplifting songs.
Moonwell Massage
Shelley is an amazing massage therapist whom I trust and always feel cared for after a session with her. I especially appreciate her gentle and positive energy. She specializes in women, pregnancy, and lymphatic care. Her intuitive touch and varied modalities make for a deeply healing experience.
Teachings, Community, Guided Meditations, Events
Ram Dass' Here & Now podcast is still my most played show. Recordings of his lectures inspire me to live better and move focus from my intellect to my heart space. His lectures are as relevant to today's challenges as they were to the time he shared his wisdom.

Love Serve Remember is the organization that keeps his legacy alive and relevant and offers so many free resources and opportunities for connection. You can also buy awesome T-Shirts, prayer shawls, statues and books.

Their free guided meditation library (linked here) has helped me in innumerable ways, and I feel is the most valuable resource they can share for our own personal discoveries.
Spiritual Community focused on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda
This organization has wonderful classes on Meditation, The Bagavad Gita, and Kriya Yoga. Every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:45 pm is their weekly Meditation which is open to everyone. It starts with Yogananda's Energization Exercises followed by devotional Kirtan and then a silent Hong Sau mantra meditation.

Hypnotherapist
I highly recommend hypnotherapy when you’re feeling stressed, burnt out, overwhelmed, in pain, or struggling to meet your goals for a fulfilling life. Mel will work with you to leverage the power of your subconscious mind for your health and well-being.
I appreciate Mel's skill in helping you get to the root cause and help deprogram yourself from limiting beliefs.
Podcast of conversations with spiritually awakening “ordinary” people
Rick Archer's podcast is perfect for spiritually seeking nerds such as myself. There is a vast wealth of experience and wisdom cataloged in the episodes.

The interviews are long and in depth. I recommend searching for episodes that seem interesting to you as opposed to listening to them all in order. There are over 700 episodes!

Also a great resource is the
BatGap Spiritual AI Bot linked here. Explore the wisdom of 1,700+ sacred texts and hundreds of spiritual interviews.

The website features this quote I love soo much:
“Spiritualization of material life is the real need of the modern world. We want Christs and Buddhas walking the busy streets of New York and esplanades of Calcutta … When all duties of this imperfect earth will be performed by angelic men and women … then our earth will be heaven, and darkness will be changed into light.”
— Paramahansa Yogananda

Author of books on Out-Of Body Travel and explorations into higher states of consciousness
The third edition of his book, "Elysium Unveiled: A Visual Odyssey of Life Eternal" has just been released. This stunning coffee table picture book is a must read for anyone interested in astral travel. The art created with the help of AI portrays a wide gamut of emotional states of being and the astral realities those emotions create.
Uplifting and inspirational, a favorite quote from the book is, "When our mind is at peace and in a state of liberation, our heart is humming with joy, wisdom and inspiration from our unity self. Knowing that we are already home. Our task at hand is one of true compassionate service towards ourselves and others."

Guided meditations focused on grounding and compassion as well as resources for spiritual support
Find spiritual support during difficult times with this great organization led by RamDev Dale Borglum. He leads the free meditations and runs support groups and education. He has a wonderful podcast called Healing at the Edge which highlights the selfless practice of Tantra and seeing the beloved in EVERYONE.

Author and spiritual teacher with a specialty in Elementals
Do you love leprechauns, dragons, gnomes, mermaids and other supernatural beings? Then you'll love Tanis' books that chronicle stories and wisdom that nature spirits communicate to her as well as her understandings of the multidimentional world beyond our 3D perceptions.

This book and online resources are designed to help you understand the life-changing dynamics of Kundalini Awakening, and to introduce you to the research and teachings of Dr. Bonnie Greenwell, a non-dual teacher and transpersonal psychologist that dedicated her life’s work to mentoring people in this spiritual awakening, or spiritual emergence, process.
Modern and ancient devotional Kirtan chants
I absolutely love the Hindu dietity Hanuman and his representation of selfeless service. This playlist features many of my favorite Hanuman Chalisas, but also a broader range of devotional Kirtan and uplifting songs. This playlist features some of my favorite Kirtan artists including Shantala, Rob and Melissa, Keerti Mathur, The Hanumen, MC Yogi, Deva Premal, Carrie Grossman, Govind Dass, and Steve Gold.
